The International Facility Management Association (IFMA), a globally recognized professional association dedicated to supporting and advancing the field of facility management, has announced CEO of City Xtra, Yussif Salford, as one of the speakers for the global conference to be held in Accra on August 1–2, 2024.
Yussif Salford, the facility management professional, is set to deliver a presentation on “Harmonizing the Processes for Outcome-Based Cleaning for Sustainable Facilities Management.”
Reacting to the news, Yussif Salford expresses excitement, focusing on the immense potential the conference will bring to the FM industry in Ghana and across Africa.
“It is great news, and the immense potential of this conference will contribute to the growing call for the integration of facilities management practices in the built environment across the country, he said.
Yussif, commenting on the topic he would present, says outcome-based cleaning and sustainability are a few of the key factors for improved facility management practice.
The IFMA Global Conference, which aims to be a collaborative hub for knowledge exchange and innovation in the facility management industry, will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions addressing the growing importance of FM in Africa’s rapidly advancing built environments.
It is expected to host various industry players from across the continent and Europe.
